Waterford Loop
Waterford
What to Expect:
This is one of our least hilly routes! Starting near the confluence of the Passumpsic and Connecticut Rivers, you’ll enjoy a nice mix of shaded gravel roads and open pastoral views along with some exciting descents!
Please note: For some reason, Ride With GPS has both Daniel’s Farm Rd and Simpson Brook Rd listed as paved roads. They are in fact gravel, making this route well over 70% gravel! Enjoy!
Length:
18.9 mi/30.4 km
Climb:
1428ft/ 435m
Steepest Ascent:
6.7%
Steepest Descent:

Parking:
Comerford Dam Rd. Parking: There is room for one or two cars to park on the east side of the iron bridge in East Barnet across from Old Silo Rd. Be sure not to block the gate.
If you continue straight on this route onto Lower Waterford Rd instead of turning left onto Duck Pond Rd, you’ll come to the picturesque village of Lower Waterford. There you’ll find the Rabbit Hill Inn, rated as the #4 resort in New England! Their Snooty Fox Pub is open to walk-ins.
