What to Expect:
Route includes a paved stem at the beginning, then a clockwise loop on a town-maintained dirt and gravel surface. The first half includes inclines and the second half has a more relaxed downhill riding experience. Cyclists will pass farms, livestock including long-horned cattle, and three historic sugarhouses. The return trip often includes stunning views of the valley with morning ground fog, also Kilkenny Mountains and the Presidential Range.

Parking:
Lunenburg Elementary School Parking: Heading east on US-2 from St. Johnsbury, turn left onto Bobbin Mill Rd in Lunenburg. The school is located on your left.
Cyclists can ride or walk to the adjacent Lunenburg Town Common. The site includes historic churches, Veterans Memorial, cannon, bandstand, picnic area, and cemetery. Across Main Street is the post office and town clerk's office. There is also Lunenburg Variety, open daily for supplies and gas, along with a deli Tuesday - Saturday with a deck.
