Around the Mountain

Burke

What to Expect:

This ride features views over the Passumpsic Valley, views toward the White Mountains and the unique experience of riding through Victory Basin as it circumnavigates Burke Mountain. It utilizes the Class IV Bradleyvale Road, which can be rough. If riders would like to avoid this section, they can continue on Brook Road to US-2, turn left on the highway and then turn right on Ladd Road. Riders should then turn left on Wesley Road and cross the highway to continue on Victory Road and join back up with the recommended route. This ride also follows VT-114 as well as the paved Mountain Road for short sections. Cyclists should use caution when riding on highways.
